I was born and raised in a truly loving environment, although my family was truly unusual from the other adolescents I knew! The people I was with and I were truly private, most of the time just keeping to within the extended family, and didn’t interact with outsiders truly often. The gentlemen of the family worked outside of the house, and the men ran everything else, along with the little convenience stores in our garages, however i would come to find out later that the gentlemen of the family were flat out thieves, stealing stuff, and the men were fences, selling the stolen goods, and all of the honorable tasks my aunts and father held were cover stories to help them get their hands on things, including my Mom’s task as an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman. He wore the outfit of an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech, and drove a colorless panel van with the emblem of a furnace on the side. Using the vehicle and his outfit he would talk his way into housing developments and worksites so that he could steal the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment. The crazy thing is that he got to think a lot about heating and cooling systems, just from having unhooked and stolen so multiple of them over the years, two or three times he took me along with him, but only to look at what A/C device he was planning to steal; Either out of practicality or being a superb Mom, he never stole any of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C stuff when I was riding right with him.
