Leave me alone, fidgety Fred

My current work is taking a lot out of myself and others everyday of my life.

Hours of each morning are spent on a tied up highway with our morning plus later commutes.

Even if I’m lucky to show up to work separate from a bad mood following me, I’m sure to get one after a second of interacting with our coworkers. They can be frustrating, especially the closest person who is always making noise. He fidgets on a level I have never before seen in another modern person. He’s either addicted to prescription stimulants or he drinks too much coffee each morning. Whether he’s creaking his chair, clicking a pen, talking loudly into his stupid cellphone, or slamming his keyboard with brute force, I struggle to stay alert or focused during our shift. Occasionally, though, I’m granted the opportunity to take a morning off from work if I truly need to make an appointment or meet a relative at the airport. For instance, I took this morning off from my usual work to monitor the replacement of our current central cooling system. My former central Heating plus Air Conditioning system lasted for 18 years before the huge air handler finally stopped working. It was finally time to get myself a current cooling system altogether, especially knowing how inefficient our old system was. Thankfully, the replacement of our current cooling system went off separate from a single hitch. I made sure that the workers vacuumed our copper refrigerant tubes before carefully putting in the current condenser. This prevents any old coolant from contaminating the whole current system plus damaging its compressor outside.
