I signed up to take the HVAC certification course at one of the local technical schools here in town and I thought that most of my classes would be very easy for me. I always did really well back when I was in elementary school and high school and I never really studied all that much. I just thought that everything was going to come easy for me for the rest of my life, I guess. However, that turned out not to be true for me when I started studying for my heating and cooling certification! Learning about air conditioning repair, cooling systems, cooling technology, air purification systems, heating equipment, and new HVAC technology has turned out to be much more difficult than I thought it was going to be! I guess I just assumed that since school was always easy for me before, it was going to be simple for me to learn all about HVAC technology and repair too. But honestly, I have been putting in hours of studying every night just to learn about the things I need to know to pass the HVAC certification tests I have to pass. I can’t believe that I’m having such a hard time with this, but I guess air conditioning and heating experts don’t become experts overnight. I am going to keep plugging away at my classes, but I do hope that things become easier for me eventually. If they don’t, I might have to take the heating and cooling classes all over again because at this point I think I might flunk the test!
