I made friends in my hometown with this movie producer and his girlfriend and told them that if they ever came overseas they could crash in my flat. Well, they took me up on the offer and are flying here in two more weeks to stay for two weeks. It is going to be fun having some friends here from my hometown, bringing that hometown feel to my flat way over here on the Spanish coast. He is also an HVAC tech so we can talk about the HVAC industry along with the movie stuff as I am also in the entertainment industry. I’ve done comedy for 17 years and music for a big chunk of that so anything dealing with the arts is fun for me to talk about. If he likes this town and wants to move here, as most people who come to visit, I could probably get him a job at the local HVAC business in a flash. He said he worked in the HVAC field for over twenty years before getting into the movie industry so I’m sure they could use someone like him. I plan on taking them around my town to check out the local businesses and maybe hit a few clubs to show them what the nightlife is like. I don’t go out much at night anymore but once in a while it would be fun. I work a lot at the HVAC company and don’t have a lot of energy left over to go out and party at night. It’s probably best for me that way.
