Starting my own podcast

For over a year now I have been running a small online community for complex trauma survivors, and I have been doing our best to build an online presence and to attract people to our community. It’s hard when there are so many online channels to cover these days. It’s never enough to have a Facebook page and Instagram, you always have to be on top of the newest social media trends! That’s why, I started recently trying my own hand at podcasting. For the most part, the process has been quite easy. That is until it comes to the indoor a/c levels. Because we are trying to keep the sound pure, the two of us have to record the podcast indoors and rely on indoor ventilation to keep us comfortable for a long time. The thermostat has to be at the exact right settings before the podcast starts, or else we’ll be dripping with sweat through the entire conversation. Because it’s the middle of summer, this means the two of us are operating our a/cs pretty heavily. Not only is the cost of operating a central cooling proposal quite a lot, but the sound of an AC machine is also becoming a pressing obstacle. Whenever we are speaking, we are trying to drown out background sounds as much as possible. Unluckily, an old a/c proposal is quite loud in humming and creating a loud click as it turns of and off. You will notice the a/c proposal in the background of our podcast. It has genuinely forced us to stop recording as soon as cool air starts flowing to the vents. At this rate, it’s going to take forever to complete even one podcast because we are genuinely working around the air conditioner schedule.
