I hadn’t bought new glasses in quite some time and I knew it was time. My old glasses were scratched and everything was distorted. The frames were loose and always falling off my face. I was always losing a screw from the bales. I decided it was time to find someplace to get my eyes checked and get new glasses. When I got to the eye doctors, I was surprised at how many different frames they had in stocks. They came in all different colors, sizes and styles. Some were priced reasonably and some had extravagant pricing. I was going to have a hard time deciding which glass frame I was going to choose. I also noticed how good it felt inside the eye center. It was so hot outside that I couldn’t breathe. When I walked into the eye center, it was like a breath of fresh air. The air conditioning wasn’t overly cold, but it was comfortable. I could feel the air coming from the air vents. Their air conditioning was impeccable. I know I must have looked odd as I sat there enjoying feeling the air conditioning coming from the air vents. I could even feel my hair blowing in the air movement. I was almost sorry to get my prescription and pick out my glasses. I knew that I would need to walk away from this wonderful air conditioning unit and go back out into the extreme heat. I think I could have easily sat in their lobby throughout the entire hot afternoon. It would be better being in the AC than outside getting into an even hotter car.
