We have decided to go ahead and have a few friends over this weekend to watch the Super Bowl on TV.
We still aren’t supposed to have a huge group of people over because of virus restrictions, but we are only having really close friends over and there will be less than a dozen people in total.
Anyway, we wanted to be sure that our HVAC system was working correctly because we had been having some trouble with our furnace over the past couple of weeks. Of course, we didn’t want our guests to be freezing in our house during the big game and so we called to make an appointment with our local HVAC company. They came over this morning to do all of the regular maintenance work on the furnace and they found a part that needed to be replaced on the furnace. It wasn’t anything major. The HVAC technician assured us that the only reason the part needed to be replaced at all was because of regular wear and tear on the furnace. He fixed it, and now the heating system seems to be working normally again. I really hope that it stays that way, too, since we are going to be having people over for the first time in ages on Sunday. I would be sad if we were all freezing. We would have to huddle by the fireplace to stay warm if the furnace were to start acting up again. Hopefully, the HVAC technician took care of everything and we won’t have any problems this weekend.
