I suppose my time as a tenant is drawing to a close.
At least I genuinely hope so.
I am finally starting to make some nice money after nearly 7 years worth paying my dues. The system of building equity and having my own condo is a bit thrilling to suppose about. I am so over how much I spend on rent to put up with a bunch of home nonsense. The greatest issue is the HVAC. I just can’t stand it here. The home I’m living in is pretty valuable. There are some nice amenities and the location is also good. But the HVAC just is hideous. Whether it’s heating or cooling, the HVAC just simply doesn’t get it done at all. Sure, when the weather is mild the HVAC is somewhat okay. But as soon as it gets frosty in the winter, the heating just runs all the time here. And, it never feels actually warm. Same thing for the summer weather. Soon as the heat outside gets to be above the mid 71’s, the HVAC cooling just won’t keep up. That means my apartment, which I spend money at a premium price for, is hot and humid much of the summer. This is ridiculous. That’s why I am going to start getting drastic about having my own place with my own HVAC. It doesn’t have to be a giant house. A nice two bedroom starter home would be super nice and work for my situation. All I want is a modern HVAC that fits the home and can supply the heating and also cooling that most people take for granted.
