The new HVAC system we had installed last year has the same capability and actually has a monitoring system built in. This monitoring system is connected through Wi-Fi and all we have to do is place a call to the HVAC dealer and have them check it out. This type of smart technology makes it easy to schedule maintenance repairs and no when a problem is looming instead of waiting for something terrible to happen. When we place a call to the HVAC dealership they can simply log on and test many of the system problems without even having to send a technician out. Sometimes they can even send the signal to the unit and have a diagnosis within minutes. If our HVAC system is in need of repair they know what parts that they need to bring in order to fix it so there isn’t any wait time during the appointment either. I’ve always been sort of a technology geek so I love the fact that they can now do things remotely and save valuable time and money for customers. I highly recommend that you look into these new types of technology if you are looking to replace any appliance in your home.
