Even though I knew I needed to upgrade my HVAC equipment upon moving in, I didn’t know the first thing about HVAC systems. I thought about contacting a local HVAC company, but during my online research I noticed that a massive hardware store sold HVAC systems and they included the installation in the price. On their website, there was even a form I could fill out to receive a quote. Once I submitted my information, I received a phone call from one of their representatives. He was really kind and he explained how their process worked. I needed to pick the HVAC system I wanted and they’d send an HVAC professional to come install it for me once it was delivered. The representative assured me that all their HVAC professionals were licenced and had recent background checks. This made me feel safe. If I didn’t want to pay the hefty price upfront, I could get a $1500 rebate and receive 0% financing for the next year! I considered financing my brand new HVAC system, but since I had the cash to pay for it, I decided to simply pay for it in full. I’m glad I did my research before purchasing a new HVAC system. I think it paid off and I can confidently have my HVAC system installed.
