One of the main reasons I wanted to leave the states and live overseas was that I was tired of driving my car and sitting in bumper to bumper traffic going to a job that I didn’t want to be at in the first place. I liked driving at first, but after having a job that required me to be on the road for several hours a day my love for driving soon faded. It just feels too stressful to be cooped up in a small car for hours a day just sitting and trying to avoid other cars. My cooling representative is the one who told me about life overseas and how nice it is to ride a bike everywhere without the need for A/C or heating in the car. She said “just let the wind cool you down or the sun heat you up”, and how correct she was! I now live in a small town and I can ride my bike everywhere without having to worry about getting my cooling system charged because it is low on freon or getting my heating fixed because of a bad heat pump. There are too many variables that come along with owning a car and they rob me of my free time and freedom. My car in the states had A/C that would blow freezing air on me all afternoon and the vents would be dripping with condensation. I entirely felt like this wasn’t good for my health. I’m so much healthier now not having to rely on artificial HVAC and heating to make me comfortable.
