It isn’t hard to see how much time has changed, when you look back in the past.
Really, you don’t have to go that far back either, it is incredible because we don’t realize time is changing around us until we go back and look at pictures.
Well, one of the things that stuck out to me the most is how advertising has changed. I think this issue sticks out to me more, because I am a HVAC business owner, but I couldn’t help but to notice how we changed how we advertised our businesses online. Before, a lot of people would put ads in the newspaper and billboards. Some people would also use radios as well. The internet was almost nonexistent back then. Once people started using computers more, then a lot of advertisements started being sent to people’s emails. It wasn’t long before a lot of businesses learned digital marketing and how to advertise their corporation online. Naturally, the companies are going to follow where the people go, and if most people were online, most of the A/C businesses were going there too. I didn’t want to be left out, and I knew I would have to move online myself. I started by getting myself a proper website. With the help of web building, I chose a nice web design and started learning about things like link building. Once I learned about that, I also began to learn online marketing. Much later on, I moved to things like PPC, SEM and SEO services.
