I will never forget when the A/C appliance died at school

On normal days there was a cool breeze outside, but all that was outside was the constant heat plus humidity… Due to the serious problems the school was closed for the course of the week.

I remember the day sort of like it was yesterday. It was a tremendously hot summer season day plus I was at school. I was 10 years of age plus bored out of my mind. I watched the instructor go over the lesson plus I couldn’t help but to let my mind wander. The air conditioning appliance in the building was operating, so despite the heat outside, everybody was easily cool inside. That lasted for a few hours but then out of nowhere the a/c appliance died. All the heat from outside started to slowly seep inside, and we started heating up quickly plus were dripping with a bunch of sweat. The university needed to get a hold of a Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional to come out plus look at the cooling appliance. But the temperatures outside were dangerously sizzling plus school was dismissed early. I enjoyed that as a young child, but even better, the entire week was scorching hot outside. The school was having a difficult time getting the air conditioner appliance diagnosed! Something about a shortage of parts needed for the air conditioning appliance to be repaired. On normal days there was a cool breeze outside, but all that was outside was the constant heat plus humidity… Due to the serious problems the school was closed for the course of the week. I enjoyed this plus hoped they would never get everything fixed and working again. But a week later they had finally gotten out an air conditioning appliance repairman plus now the school had nice cool air again! When I went back to my classes the air was absolutely freezing. The temperature difference between the outside plus the inside was extremely noticeable. But they said the chilly air easily kept the mind sharp.
