I absolutely love the old world style estate

I wrote an article not so long ago talking about how my preferred type of dwelling is the old-world estate style. Since I’m an interior designer, I probably shouldn’t have put it out there that my “preferred” type is the old-world estate dwelling style, however it’s certainly the truth. I care about the beautiful earthy tones, archways, clay tiles and custom leather furniture that the old-world estate type offers (as I mentioned in my previous article). For me, as a guy who happens to be from an Italian family, the old-world estate is the charming homestyle of “the old country”. If you’re a person who is hoping to flip your dwelling or redecorate in the old-world estate aesthetic, be warned. This actual style does not really work with a modern style home. The old-world estate type is one of the few dwelling styles that really must have the dwelling’s architecture to match. There’s nothing more terrible than seeing a modern, cape cod type dwelling with an old-world estate interior. You do not want to do something like that. But, if your dwelling has the bones for an old-world estate style, by all means make sure to have at least 2 key factors. The first thing you really need is a clay tile roof. If you’re not willing to shell out the extra cash for the clay tiles, then you really just need to stick with the rustic meets transitional type (this will accomplish the Tuscan beauty aesthetic without that clay tile requirement). If you are willing to go for the clay tile, make sure that your custom furniture matches the dwelling. You will want custom leather sofas, custom leather chairs and you’ll want the leather to be a matching custom furniture set. I hope this has helped you!
