I have a very sophisticated heating system

When at my church this week, the oil furnace was on to keep us heated while in our worship service, however, I was able to help install the HVAC network at that church and I was listening closely to the noises the oil furnace was making just to make sure the HVAC network was entirely working correctly.

As bizarre as this may seem, I had gotten into the habit of listening to the noises of HVAC systems ever since I had an odd experience in an aged Catholc church a few years back.

I was young at the time and only had been working on oil furnaces and air conditioners for a few weeks. I was at this Catholic church to repair its HVAC system, and when I arrived at the building, I walked to the front doors and found them unlocked. I walked into the church and saw a note that told me to go ahead and find the HVAC plan and begin working on the oil furnace area of it. I wasn’t sure where I would find the oil furnace so I ventured through the big church looking for a normal area someone would put an oil furnace. As I walked down a narrow hallway, I heard soft scratching sounds in the air ducts in the walls around me. I assumed the oil furnace was running and began listening closely. The sounds of the oil furnace slowly got louder. Then the oil furnace made a loud bang and super hot air rushed out of the air ducts. I thought this was particularly creepy. I managed to find both the oil furnace and air conditioning systems in the building. I fixed the oil furnace and got out of there as swiftly as possible! Ever since that experience with an oil furnace, I constantly listen for different HVAC sounds everywhere I go.
