Every day he turns on some YouTube channel that specializes in HVAC troubleshooting and repair services.
You’ll never be perfect at anything when you first start out. That is a motto that I tried to live by, because it helps me to dip my toe into new experiences and hobbies. It can be difficult for me to overcome my initial fear of trying new things at times. It’s very helpful for me to recall that everybody is a beginner at some point, and it just takes effort to become an expert. That’s what I always tell myself and that’s what I tell my family. Unfortunately, that’s why my son is currently destroying our Heating and Cooling equipment on a regular basis. My kid is in high school right now, but he is desperately trying to prepare for his future career as a heating and cooling specialist. I’m not sure why he decided to become an HVAC technician, but he has had his eyes set on the air quality control industry for several months now. I want to encourage him to get experience in the HVAC field and I realized that he’s not going to be perfect at heating and cooling repair diagnostics for some amount of time. Unfortunately, this means sacrificing our own central heating and cooling system for his early experiments in air quality control repair. Every day he turns on some YouTube channel that specializes in HVAC troubleshooting and repair services. Then he goes outside and starts tinkering with the central cooling system while he follows along with the HVAC repair video. The tough part is, he has to be on his phone the entire time which becomes a massive distraction for his repair work. I swear, every day he gets halfway through his HVAC task before abandoning it to pursue his other novice dream; modelling on instagram.
