I have been an accountant for the past nine years.
I have been laboring for the same accounting firm for several of those years! Recently, the dealer decided to let all of the employees work from home instead of the office.
Our whole office is shut down for 60 afternoons at least, and I am stuck laboring at home with a room full of youngsters. I have 3 children that are usually in college right now, however they are home on chop as well. It’s hard to juggle 3 youngsters and a full day of work… A lot of people guess I am fortunate because I get to work from home, however it happens to be an awesome burden and responsibility. I would rather be able to spend all day teaching the youngsters about shapes, numbers, and books! That daycare isn’topen and there is nowhere for the youngsters to spend all day, except at home with me. I try to take a chop in the day, so the youngsters and I can spend an hour outside playing in the backyard. I have found a few perks to laboring at home. The office is filled with people and the air quality is always stagnant, warm, and smelly. I have control over the indoor hot and cold temperatures in our office now, and our family and I recently upgraded our heating and air conditioner components. It feels undoubtedly cool and comfortable inside of the cabin and it is much nicer than our office at work. I look forward to a time when the youngsters go back to college and things beginning to resume prefer normal, and for now, I am enjoying the small perks prefer temperature control and unlimited bathroom breaks.
