I have to truly thank the state, the city and the most current building codes for this! Also, I can thank the office construction people for taking a long time in doing the office renovations that needed to happen.
I think that everyone prefers to get something for nothing, me included. I would lie if I acted prefer one of these creepy holier-than-yall people who only believes you should get money and be rewarded for slaving away for years till you near drop dead. The office I task at badly needed to have some emergency construction to meet the current building codes in my city. And because of this situation the bosses gave us all the time off from task with full pay as if we were going to work! The amount of office construction that had to be done to meet the brand current building codes was going to take a little over 6 weeks. So this was a full month of full time task pay with having a vacation more or less! I got to take my family on a 1 week vacation to the islands while I was in this time after I found out it was going to be happening. I have to truly thank the state, the city and the most current building codes for this! Also, I can thank the office construction people for taking a long time in doing the office renovations that needed to happen. From what I understand, they don’t task during the weekends. So this possibly in total gave us an extra week off to make it be another month! I consider myself to be very fortunate to have had this happen. Because of the ongoing office construction, they are not even taking it off my paid vacation accumulation (or PTO) I or the other employees have. Isn’t life grand?
