Every summer my siblings and I go out to the country to visit my grandparents.

We have always gone and we do look forward to the trip each year.

However, my grandparents house is really outdated and sometimes it is more of a struggle to stay out there. They have a farm and we are supposed to go out and work with my grandpa each day. However, the air conditioner in the house doesn’t work very well because they don’t have a central heating and cooling system. My grandparents only have air conditioner window units in the bedrooms and nothing in the rest of the house. It gets so hot sometimes that the only way to cool down is to jump in the lake or take a freezing cold shower. As we get only we complain more to our parents about the HVAC system and my parents are thinking of offering to have proper HVAC system installed. I really hope that my parents call a HVAC company to come install a HVAC system because then there would be no issues when it came to visiting my grandparents each summer. We would even start to look forward to it! I think this might be the last summer that we have to endure this terrible old school HVAC system. I hope at least, I really don’t want to have another summer filled with sweat. I am going to start asking my parents about it everyday until they agree to have the HVAC system install for my grandparents.

I am in my second year of college and to say that I am broke is an understatement.

• My parents helped me out during my first year, but now that I have a job they don’t think I need their help anymore.

I guess they really are right, but a little bit of extra help wouldn’t be such a bad thing. Right now I am living in the most affordable housing close to campus and it really sucks. Nothing working correctly and the building isn’t even capable of having a HVAC system. There aren’t any ducts or mechanical equipment in the building at all. I have to rely on an air conditioner window unit to keep cool and it really doesn’t do the job. I am always sweating in the summer and the winter is unbearably cold. I need to get a space heater, but like I said I am so poor that I can’t afford one. I wish that I was able to live in an apartment that had a working HVAC system, but those kind of apartments just aren’t in my price range right now. I now that I will appreciate a HVAC system when I have one one day, but for now I am just going to have to make due with my air conditioner window unit. I am hoping to save some money up for next year so that I can get a better apartment with a real HVAC system. I think I am going to start looking for a second job.

I am going away to college next week and my parents are so worried about me.

I know that they just want me to be safe but I am starting to get annoyed with them being so overprotective.

I have had problems with asthma my whole life and they are convinced that if I don’t have my own dorm with my own personal HVAC systeem that I will be sick the whole time I at school. I really wish they would just let me live a normal life, but they insist on interfering. I really do like the idea of having my own HVAC system,but I would also like to live with someone for my first year away at school. I have tried to convince them that having a HVAC system to myself isn’t going to solve all my problems, but they won’t listen to me at all. I just want to have a normal college experience. I am going to have a serious talk with them next week and let them know that I can’t deal with their behavior anymore and that I don’t want to leave alone even if it does mean having to share the HVAC system with someone else for a year. I know that I will be able to handle it, now I just need them to trust me. I really hope this conversation goes well next week. Fingers crossed that I will get what I want!

I have been living in the same apartment complex for a while.

I haven’t been in the same exact unit, but I have been in the building for a few years.

I really don’t love this building because they don’t keep up with the maintenance at all. However, it is really affordable and I live alone so I have to make it work. Last week, I started feeling really sick. I had been sick for a while now but last week was the worst it had been. I think there is something wrong with the HVAC system because I can’t feel the air circulating in my apartment and I found mold in the HVAC unit closet. I have been trying to get in touch with my landlord to make an appointment with a local HVAC company so I could get rid of the mold, but I haven’t been able to get in touch with him. I am starting to get really annoyed because I know that mold in my HVAC unit is what is causing me to feel so bad. I want to leave my place for a couple of days so I can get better but I don’t have anywhere to go. I wonder if I will be able ever get ahold of my landlord at this point. I really need to get the HVAC system fixed so that I don’t have to miss anymore school or work. I hope that he picks up when I call tomorrow!

My family and I love to go camping.

My pal and I have an annual camping trip each year and it is regularly something that I look forward to, however this year my buddy and I decided that my buddy and I wanted to honestly go camping down by the beach, however that meant my buddy and I had to prepare for warmer weather, and camping in the Summer and the beach was going to be a weird experience than when my buddy and I correctly go camping in the winter time in the mountains, i told my mom that I thought it would be a great idea for us to get a portable air conditioner for the tent so that my buddy and I aren’t dying of heat while my buddy and I are sleeping.

I sent my mom a few possibilities for the portable air conditioners so that she could see how effective they would be at keeping us cool. I do not like the thought of being overheated while I am sleeping. I honestly hope that my mom will be on board to get the portable air conditioners for our camping trip because I don’t have that kind of money to spend on an HVAC system. I assume she cares about the idea though because she hates being overheated while she sleeps just as much as I do. If my mom doesn’t go for my portable air conditioner idea after that I am going to present the idea to my dad. I know he will be harder to sell on the idea even though I assume I could get him to agree to at least getting one portable air conditioner if not more than one portable air conditioner.

I want to leave my locale for a couple of mornings so I can get better but I don’t have somewhere to go. I wonder if I will be able ever get ahold of my landlord at this point. I truly need to get the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system fixed so that I don’t have to miss anymore school or work. I hope that he picks up when I call tomorrow!
