I got an offer from a major corporation to join their workforce. I had to admit, they put together a entirely attractive package. Since we were renting the lakeside home for an entire week, we did a lot of research on it.

As I suspected, Mike went home fuming mad, because all of us both knew there was no concern with her air conditioning. The ductless heat pump choice came in under budget plus was even better than replacing it with the traditional residential Heating & A/C. I’m in care about with homeownership plus our quality heating plus air is a large area of that.

After almost 35 years at the same business, I suppose I just really didn’t realize the toll our job was taking on our life.

Right out of school, I started our job with the business. And I ended that job at 54. It wasn’t straight-forward saying goodbye to that perfect corner office with the zone controlled Heating & A/C. But honestly, it allowed myself and others to have the most full final chapters of our life. With our retirement in hand, I left the chilly plus the gas furnace behind. Trust me, it was straight-forward to embrace a land of sun plus a Wintertide where the heat pump was mostly quiet. My partner said it was like marrying the aged me. Every one of us were out of the a/c playing tennis or golf almost every afternoon. There were plenty of times for afternoon adventures together. Those are the best because we’d regularly end it with a beautiful dining situation someplace with awesome quality heating plus air. Every one of us haved lived this magic life for a long time now. So it’s quite natural that I’ve slowed down a bit now that I’m nearly 72. After a health scare, things checked up a bit for me. It’s okay though because I’m still getting around plus living a life. But the pandemic allowed myself and others to so prove that thought.

For years, I spent countless hours inside the zone controlled Heating and A/C of a corporate office. I was particularly enjoyable at my task however I was making other people rich, not me. That sort of was an epiphany really. It started the wheels in motion for myself and others to do what I do however for me. Launching that corporation 6 years ago was a seminal moment in my life for sure. But the pandemic definitely challenged the wisdom of leaving that zone controlled Heating and A/C and steady corporate paycheck to be my own boss. My team of about a dozen people had no trouble transitioning to working remotely. I mean no trouble at all with any of us working from our own air conditioning system. However, I wasn’t flying so it was difficult to get to my customers. I’m the 1 who does the deals and is hands on with the client most of the time. So I had to figure out how to get to those who needed us and it wasn’t happening from the air conditioning system of my house. So I cranked up the Heating and A/C cooling that summer time and hit the road for what ended up being a few weeks the first time out. That wasn’t enjoyable with my man however he diagnosed the temperature control setting in my apartment and I flew his to wherever I was every other weekend. But mostly, I was in the lovely, quality heating and air of the hotels along the interstate. Hands down regularly the best heating and cooling I’ve ever experienced which was a lovely surprise.
