I just want you to think that I am too lazy to repair my own HVAC units! I think that it must make my dad furious that I do not repair my own HVAC units, but my dad is a good HVAC specialist, early on in my childhood, my dad began teaching me how to repair my own HVAC units.

The last thing that I want to do when I get lake house from work is to work on my own HVAC units. I would rather hire an HVAC specialist to repair my own HVAC units while I am either at work or unbelievable at home. I made enough money to spend money an HVAC specialist to service my HVAC units, and I don’t think why I would spend my free time working on an HVAC unit when I don’t have to. I think that she should have listened to me.

I swear kids never go outside anymore.

I recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of mine and purchased a lake apartment for our family and I to spend the summers in.

When I envisioned our life at the lake house, I pictured us resting outside for meals, swimming, and laying out on the dock. I thought we’d have yard games and campfires. However, our kids seem to be more interested in resting inside on their cellphones all afternoon. When I asked them why they spent so much time inside, they said that the a/c feels good. I have to admit, the a/c in this apartment is charming. Every one of us have brand new central air and it feels amazing. When I heard that the a/c was keeping the kids inside, I decided to do something a little cruel. I turned the a/c off. My kids were forced to come take a swim to cool off. They ended up having an amazing afternoon outside. Half way through the afternoon, I turned the A/C back on without telling them. They continued to spend all afternoon in the sun, and I didn’t see them check their cellphones for hours at a time. Finally, they went inside and noticed how much better the a/c felt when you really got out and enjoyed the Summer weather. I believe our point was made because they started spending a lot more time outside after that.

Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve been an activist for several causes, however mostly those related to climate change and the environment.

There are so several people who believe they are making a change, however they are really just engaging in what is known as performative activism. In other words, they might post something about a cause to their social media profile, however they aren’t really putting in effort to argument for this cause. I always make sure that I do more than just talk about change, however really act in a way that causes change. Lately, I have been advocating for more people to install geothermal gas furnaces. To be honest, there are just so several distractions at home.
