Using types of workout attire to combat weather

I also have a number of different water bottles

I would prefer to workout outdoors. If the weather is decent, I like to go for a run, ride my bike or unroll my yoga mat outside. I am fortunate to reside in an area where the weather conditions are normally moderate and sunny. In the height of summer, the temperatures might climb into the high nineties with brutal humidity. I then make an effort to set an alarm extra early in the morning and exercise before the worst heat of the day. Although our local winter weather doesn’t hang around for more than a month or two, the temperature sometimes drops down into the thirties. I occasionally need to hold off to workout until later in the day. I wait until the sun has come out and the weather has warmed up a bit. I have invested in a wide range and rather expensive selection of workout attire. I bought all kinds of shirts, shorts, long pants, jackets, hoodies and even socks that are designed for specific outdoor conditions. I have clothing made out of fabric that holds in body heat or resists moisture. Most are sewn from fabric that is breathable and pulls away moisture. All of them are quite lightweight, comfortable and accommodate freedom of movement. I’ve spent a lot of money on the best workout shoes. I purchased 3 pairs of sneakers that I vary between. Two of them are designed intended for running and the last is more of an all-around athletic sneaker. Switching between the shoes permits the materials to reset and the shoes last longer because of it. I still need to update the shoes annually. I also have a number of different water bottles. I recently found something called a camel pack that I wear while I’m running. It allows easy access to water.
