I hardly ever come home for dinner, because our business is about 20 seconds away from our house.
I was meeting with a customer on Friday and I was only a mile away from the house so I decided to stop.
I thought it would be nice to see the cats during the afternoon and I thought they would like a half second of yard time. The cats were absolutely gleeful to see me. As soon as I opened the door I saw them. They were panting and excited. it was absolutely sizzling and the doorway oh, so I closed the front door and I took off our jacket. I walked through the house and it still felt absolutely warm; When I evaluated the thermostat, I realized that the a/c was not working. I had the thermostat temperature set to 68 degrees, however the indoor temperature was 72. The cats particularly looked annoyed. Their water dish was dry. I gave them a fresh bowl of water with ice cubes and I called the a/c repair service. The lady on the iPhone was absolutely nice and helpful… She had an appointment opening immediately, although I was due back at toil shortly. I decided to stay home and cancel everything in the day. I thought the a/c was the most important concern at that time. I can’t imagine how tepid it would have been in the house, if I had not come home at dinnertime to check on the cats. My awful cats would have suffered all day while I was at work.
