In terms of HVAC repair I have absolutely lucked out; They say you should get your heating idea serviced in fall & the AC in the Springtime, and i got my cooling idea serviced the Last yearin January last year, and why is that time significant? It was right before COVID hit.
I snuck in cooling repair & didn’t have to worry all season long.
When it came time for heating service, I managed to time it & get a deal. The HVAC dealers were desperate for people to let them into their homes & trust them not to spread the virus. I got heating repair for a fraction of the cost, and now it is a single year later & COVID is still sort of a concern. I still have managed to sneak in a low cost cooling service. The only snag about the virus is that I would absolutely enjoy to get UV lights installed in my cooling system. I talked about them with my HVAC professional last year. This year I want the lights however they are obviously all sold out, then all indoor air quality component is basically on backorder because people are nuts about the virus. I can’t get a humidifier, dehumidifier, whole-house air purifier, HEPA filters or my precious germicidal UV lights. I know enjoy clarifying that I only want the lights to stop mold from forming on my cooling coil. I also guess air filter swings are less frequent when you have UV lights. I am not even sad about the spread of COVID, I just want my lights.
