Troubleshooting an air cleaner

An air cleaner removes pollutants from the breathable indoor air! These pollutants can cause severe problems to a single’s health, sometimes these air cleaners may stop laboring, here are complicationshooting ideas you can use to get your air cleaner laboring again, when the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment does not turn on, check if its power cord is blocked into a socket.

If not, plug it in the official power outlet and turn it on.

If it does not turn on the problem could be a faulty power outlet. Have it upgraded and turn the purifier on. Do not use the purifier if its power cord is damaged. Instead, contact the brand’s buyer care service. If your air cleaner does not respond to touch control or push buttons, the possible cause could be an unblocked purifier or uncovered filter. To repair this, you should plug your purifier into a power outlet… Place the filter cover back correctly according to the manufacturer’s manual. If you identify the problem as malfunctioned controls, detach the purifier from the power source and contact the brand’s buyer care service. An air cleaner could stop functioning well due to dust build-up in the air filters, huge room coverage, objects blocking the air intake and outlet, or a purifier localed too close to the corner. It could also be due to dust build-up on the filters. Wash your air filter in the laundry unit to get rid of dust. Avoid placing an air cleaner in a corner… Unofficial noises from the air cleaner could possibly mean that the air filter is not closed correctly or that you need to upgrade your air filter. A pop sound could mean moisture in the air is high and condense on electrodes to short circuit the system. Unplug the unit and disinfect the electrodes with a dry rag. If the noise continues after you have changed your air filter, then the problem is inside the purifier. Switch it off, detach from the power source and contact your Heating and Air Conditioning brand buyer service. If you notice a reduced airflow from the purifier, check the fan speed, adjust your fan speed, or set it on auto mode. Auto Mode detects pollutants and removes them by changing fan speed, however finally, change the air cleaner’s location if the airflow is low.
