When I began laboring from home, I had no plan that it would turn into a year long adventure.
I brought lake beach house our belongings from the office with the plan that I’d be back in a few weeks… After a few weeks went by plus I was still laboring from our dining room table, our boss SMSed all the people plus said it would be weeks before the two of us were allowed back.
Thankfully, all the people was allowed to get the rest of their belongings from their desks plus take them lake beach house for the time being. I didn’t have any space in our lake beach house for an office, so I continued to work from the dining room table as best as I could; However, with our adolescents reading at lake beach house too, I couldn’t concentrate or get anything done; My fiance plus I saw this as an chance to finish our attic plus create an at lake beach house office for me. The attic was already studded, so it just needed drywall plus air conditioner. The attic was at the top of the house, so the two of us were not worried about heat, but both of us understood that heat naturally rises, so the only thing I needed was air conditioner so it would not get too warm. I considered a ductless mini split plan because I’d heard great things about them. However, I also knew that window A/C units were more affordable. I didn’t mind the humming noise of the window A/C unit, plus I thought it would be a cost-effective way to cool the space. Thankfully, I’d only have to run the window A/C equipment during the time I was laboring.
