Actually, the HVAC appeared to be working fine when we had the place inspected.
Well, when we got into the summer and had to use the air conditioning system, we were shocked when the system just quit working. My wife asked me to call the HVAC company and I did. The HVAC professional was telling us that we had to upgrade the HVAC because it was too old and worn out. We were assured previously that we could get another 5 years from the HVAC. We decided to get an estimate for how much it would cost for a new central HVAC unit. I couldn’t believe how outrageous the cost was and I didn’t like it. Then a friend told me that we could install an HVAC system. I laughed and said that I was not an HVAC professional. He then explained to me that there were DIY ductless mini splits on the market and they seemed relatively easy to have installed. He explained that basically, you just have to drill a hole with a hole saw through the wall to the outside so you can put all your tubing and wiring through to the outdoor condenser unit. So I ordered this new HVAC system and with my buddy, we were able to install the thing. With the installation videos, everything was a breeze. The model of ductless mini split I went for also was very simple. The hose line sets had quick connect features for very easy work and everything was basically idiot proof.
