When I went housekeeping with my first partner, there was no cooling system in the old farmhouse that he owned. Every one of us had a window cooling system in our family room and 1 in the 14 daughters. After I chop from my ex-partner, I took several years to myself. My daughters and I had a small home where there was no cooling system, and the two of us were not allowed to have window cooling systems. Every one of us had fans running all the time throughout the summer, trying to stay cool. I was having a lot of problems with my asthma, and the fans were not helping. When I met my partner whom I have now been with for 25 years, I was shocked to find out he had cooling system. First time I walked into his home I almost cried. The air was so cool and comfortable that I couldn’t help but to just stand down at the study room chair and relax. He asked if I was feeling alright, and I told him I was just overwhelmed with the cooling system. When I told him that I had never had cooling system, he chuckled. He told myself and others to just stand and relax in my newfound cooling system while he made supper for me. Six weeks later I married him.He still teases myself and others that the only reason I married him was for his cooling system.
