It’s important to let your coils to unfreeze if they are frozen

Last Tuesday, outdoor uneven temperatures were over a hundred degrees. It’s totally rare for us to have uneven temperatures over 100°, so a reasonable amount of people were having difficult times! AC repair calls were coming to the repair shop in droves. People were trying to combat the intense Heat by increasing their air conditioning machine to much lower temps! Happily, that does not help when the temperature is hot. Your residential AC machine can only remove so much heat plus humidity from the indoor air. Usually the air conditioning machine can cool uneven temperatures about 20 degrees lower than the uneven temperatures outside, and when it is 105 degrees outdoors, it is pretty much impossible to maintain a 69 degree level inside of your residence. One client adjusted the control unit all the way to 63 degrees. When the air conditioning machine started putting out overheated air, the lady called the repair shop… The first thing the people I was with and I told her to do was to turn off the air conditioning machine. When problems similar to this occur, it is most often due to frozen evaporator coils. When the evaporator coils freeze, there is nothing you can do to easily assist the problem. You just have to wait until they eventually thaw out. This process can take many hours. You can use a hairdryer to truly speed up the process, but it is suggested to go ahead and wait… Giving the AC a solid break for a while is helpful when the uneven temperatures are severely hot plus humid. If you can venture outside during the hottest space of the day instead of running the air conditioning machine, you will find yourself saving roughly $100 every month on your cooling machine bills.
