I am excited to finally get involved with something that will save me a few hundred dollars! The reason it has taken me this long is purely financial.
When you live paycheck to paycheck you don’t have the spare money to pay for the annual plan. When you sign up you pay for a year in advance, so while it does save money in the long run, it costs a pretty penny to get started, then now that I am signed up I get a free HVAC inspection as well as tune-up twice a year, and emergency service any time I might need it. They say “you have to pay to make money” as well as that is 100% true when it comes to your central heating as well as cooling system. When you pay for the annual HVAC system up front it costs a bundle, but then you won’t have to spend any more money for the rest of the year. This is the sticking point for a lot of people, because they just look at the amount they have to pay, and not at the grand total of savings you acquire over the year. Without the service plan, having more than one HVAC inspection will cost you roughly $400, and that is assuming that there are no additional services needed. I paid that same $400 in one lump sum, and now I don’t have to reach for our billfold when the HVAC techs come by. On top of that, I get free air filter replacements, too!
