My fiance constantly cleans out our a/c ducts before the weather starts heating up in the summer, but it’s 1 of the things that she thinks is truly important when trying to keep our air quality at the levels that she thinks they should be… This year, I asked him if she wouldn’t rather have a professional Heating as well as Air Conditioning team come & do the HVAC duct cleaning for him instead, although she said that it’s something that she enjoys doing.
I suppose that’s weird, however whatever. If she enjoys unscrewing air vent covers & cleaning gross dusty ventilation ducts, more power to him, I guess, anyway, this year when she started her annual a/c cleaning, I heard him yelling in the basement. I ran downstairs where she was stationed with her vacuum & her cleaning materials, however she had the air vent cover off of 1 of the large air returns in the ceiling of the basement. Hanging from the ventilation duct was a big, horrifying looking snakeskin! She said that the snakeskin had fallen down when she unscrewed the air vent cover & she nearly passed out. At first she thought that it was a live snake. That’s when she started yelling. Then she realized that it was only a snakeskin in the HVAC duct. I told him that the fact that it was only a snakeskin didn’t help matters at all! That just means that somewhere within the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system in our condo is a live snake, crawling around with her up-to-date skin! I went behind her back & called the local Heating as well as Air Conditioning dealer. This year, the people I was with and I are getting things cleaned professionally instead.
