Today is a breezy one out there however we still have a ton of tourists walking around the streets, which means we could end up making some nice currency when we play music later in this undoubtedly tied up spot.
I am going to ride my bike down there in a little bit to see if anyone is playing in the spot, plus if they are after that I will have to go to plan b plus find another spot. My buddy and I have a nice spot on the beach that is even more crowded however the wind could be a problem. Cooling down in the wind is nice when you are playing drums because your body is consistently heating up from the physicality of playing the drums. I hope the first spot is available plus after that I don’t have to worry about the wind being an issue because it is sheltered from the wind for the most part. But a lot of musicians like to play the local company spot because it has nice acoustics plus a lot of people walking by, plus on a nice afternoon you can make more currency than an Heating plus A/C tech toiling all afternoon in an office. On a tied up afternoon you could pull in a few hundred bucks if you stay out there for a few hours, however we usually play about two hours before our voices have had enough. I have to wash my climate control system before we play plus also do my yoga routine for 15 minutes. I still have about three more hours till my bandmate arrives so I should be fine.
