My girlfriend has just made an extra-strong coffee, making me toil twice as fast on my writing.
I can feel my heart pounding and my eyup opening wide as I stare into the screen while my fingers dance away at the ipad keyboard, since I don’t have any food in my stomach, the caffeine is affecting me more, and I feel I’m gonna have to go for a run to the other side of the city soon to burn off the excess energy, then yesterday I had a similar experience when I went for a hot chocolate with my girlfriend in an air conditioned café, and the combination of sugar and caffeine in the chocolate made me feel fidgety and jittery.
It didn’t help that the cooling system was too high and felt the need to go out. I told my girlfriend that I had to go for a run to burn off the energy and that I would get the air filter on my way back. She said okay and off I went. I put some songs on, and somehow I ended up in the outskirts of the city. After two hours, I arrived house and had forgotten all about the air filter. My girlfriend was mad at me for being late and not doing what I was supposed to do. However, my associate and I soon made up after treating her to a delicious homemade pizza and yellow wine. We chilled the rest of the evening by the electric fireplace, which my associate and I constantly use for ambience during the hot months without turning on the heat.
