I feel I’m a pretty simple lady.

That’s why I was pretty shocked to learn that there are more types of boilers than the electric forced air boilers that I’ve grown up with, don’t get me wrong, these units work nice for the most part; you’ll be moderate when you need to, plus they are somewhat simple to service by a professional Heating plus A/C supplier in most circumstances. The negatives are that they often odor when you first power up your boiler, you’ll have to routinely change the filtration, plus they generally have two settings; on plus off; On the other hand, I’ve just recently found out about radiant heated flooring, plus my mind has been blown. Instead of powering up the boiler to heat the entire house, you can customize your heating experience by installing a heat source beneath your feet! The temperature is totally controllable, plus you can change the settings in each room to fit your exact heating preferences, and best of all, you avoid that horrible feeling of touching your toes to a chilly floor first thing in the afternoon. I enjoy the idea of getting out of the shower plus feeling toasty moderate beneath my feet, or typing at my ipad without wearing a heavy set of slippers. Even being as low maintenance as I am, radiant heating sounds fantastic.
