I feel I’m a bit of a drama queen when it comes to summertime.
I like to feel that I’m level headed, however I cannot stand being boiling plus sporadically go to extreme lengths to prevent being physically uncomfortable, pretty much as soon as May rolls around, I have my cooling system powered up at full blast for the rest of the summer. I just can’t stand being tepid plus sweaty in my own home, plus definitely won’t tolerate the heat at night when it prevents me from getting shut eye. That’s why I recently decided that my central cooling isn’t enough for my personal needs anymore. I went out plus purchased myself a cheap window unit, which I never imagined I would do based on prior perceptions of their limited utility. However, my mind has changed since I’ve stayed at my friend’s apartment, plus realized that there are some inherent benefits to cooling a single room at a time. It’s not practical to use window AC units if you plan on moving around throughout the house, but if you’re going to be stationary in one small space, it makes a lot of sense to employ a single component to cool that room only. I’ve also realized that it helps to supplement my new central cooling unit, by adding some additional cooling power where I need it the most. Now my study room is like the arctic tundra at night because it’s so full of cool plus dry air from my complimentary a/cs, plus I’m sleeping better than ever.
