I was happy to see that my jewelry business was getting better. If it hadn’t been that a blogger had bought an article of jewelry from me, I would still be making a piece here or there and that was it. She was quick to put it on her website and make sure people saw how beautiful it was. All of a sudden, my jewelry was in demand. I had to up the amount of pieces I was making and I was getting tired. The only way I was going to fulfill all of my orders was to work day and night. I started drinking sugary sodas at night, but then I ended up peeing all the time. I also tried turning down the thermostat to the lowest temperature possible. I became so cold that my fingers were freezing and I had to dress really warm. I was warm enough to work, but not warm enough to counteract the air conditioning I was using; and still, I had more orders coming in daily. I knew I had to hire a couple of people, but I couldn’t afford that. I just had to use the AC to help me to stay awake. However, the AC was very expensive. When I realized how much my energy bill went because of all of the air conditioning I was using, I realized it was cheaper to hire someone to help me. It only took a month of abusing my air conditioning before I could hire someone. My jewelry business is still growing and I will soon be hiring another person to help.
