Staying healthy during quarantine

Most of my friends from the gym have gained weight during quarantine.

I have been able to successfully shed pounds and gain muscle mass using a strict diet and exercise plan.

I was working out 5 days a week at the gym when the government decided to make us one thing. I understand exactly why places like the gym and restaurants need to close, but it really put a dent in my rhythm and my schedule. I knew it was important to find a way to stay healthy during quarantine, so I talked with a fitness expert and we came up with a strict diet and exercise plan to help me stay fit during this horrible pandemic. Every morning, I take the stairs instead of the elevator. I live on the 11th floor of my apartment building and the track upstairs and downstairs can be very difficult. Each morning I take the stairs to the lower level. In the afternoon, I walk the stairs three times. I have been exercising every afternoon and I also perform yoga three times a week. I think that yoga helps me stay flexible so I can spend more time working out the muscles in my body. I have some free weights in my home and a treadmill, and that is all I use for my daily workout routine. I think it’s important to stay healthy during quarantine and I have made it my personal mission to improve my mental and physical fitness. Things will eventually get better and then we can all go back to our normal routines.
