I think that a lot of people have a hard time when it comes to taking criticism.
I guess it sort of depends on how the criticism is delivered, because some criticism can be incredibly harsh.
I am a writer and I have had glowing reviews and negative reviews alike. The thing is, I try to take a good look at all of the negative reviews so that I can figure out where I can improve when it comes to my writing. There are other things as well though, like when it comes to taking care of my HVAC system. I had a friend tell me a little while ago that the air quality in my house was sort of lacking. I was surprised because I thought the air quality wasn’t so bad. I changed my air filters regularly and I even had an air purifier working 24/7. He explained that he was so used to having excellent air quality in his home, that it was just easy for him to notice when the air quality was lacking in other places. He said there were a few things I needed to think about. He suggested that I have my ductwork system cleaned out yearly for starters. He also said that I could probably use better air filters in my HVAC system like HEPA air filters. Then he said instead of using that cheap air purifier I had, I should consider having a UV air purification system installed. He said he uses HEPA air filters and a UV air purification system, and his air quality is incredible. I honestly don’t mind following his advice, and I appreciate that he wasn’t too harsh with his criticism.
