Don’t feel alone. We are all desperately attempting to maintain whatever new normal that we can. It’s actually getting a bit easier as I am now accustomed to the various steps that I take to keep myself safe. While I have been able to work from home, my wife had to go back to her retail job. There wasn’t really much choice given the financial repercussions. So, she ventured outside the security of our HVAC controlled home. This got me to thinking about how I could get more proactive when it comes to the virus and my immune health. I want to be sure our immune systems are the best they can be. So, I chose to take the indoor air quality to a more healthy level. I called the HVAC people and they are coming out to install a whole house air purifier. This system will actually go inside the HVAC air handler. Once its working, it will treat the filtered air that comes from the return. AS the air flows into the filter, high intensity UV light actively destroys the DNA of airborne hazards. This rids the air of harmful particulate matter that causes all those health annoyances like sinus trouble and colds that last forever. Without that constant attack on our health, our immune system is not drawn thing by constantly attacking what is hurting our health. It was a chunk of money for the whole house air purifier. But, it is so worth the money considering how important good indoor air quality is to good immune health.
