Exactly one week ago, I went to the shelter plus got a current cat… My previous caseveral friend passed away about many months ago, after being our best friend for thirteen years.
The apartment seemed pretty empty separate from a cat, plus I’m so cheerful I got another friend. The largest difference in getting a dog now is that I have arthritis plus I am also, admittedly, overweight. That makes it really hard to walk her, but she needs to be walked because she doesn’t get any exercise in the backyard, however she has no interest in running around plus playing in the yard, so to keep her from getting fat, I need to take her on walks, however it is quite hard on me; In addition to our physical challenges, it is also about 100 degrees outside every day. It is no picnic walking in the southeast’s summer time heat, plus it is even hotter plus more humid than usual. I think like I would not even walk her if I had no cooling system to come back condo to, but having a swimming pool would be even better, however the a/c is definitely a blessing! Funnily, even the dog looks forward to getting back into the a/c; I am sure of it. The reason I guess so is that she does many things when the people I was with and I get back… First, she goes plus gulps all the water out of her dish. Then, right after that, she Mayes over to the cooling system air vent plus plops down to soak up all the cool air! One day, the cooling system wasn’t running when the people I was with and I got back home, plus she just looked at myself and others with those concerned eyes as if to say, “What is wrong with the a/c?” If I lived somewhere where there is no cooling system, I could never walk our cat!
