The AC is going down

For the past month straight I’ve been hearing the loudest construction start at 8am. I work afternoons plus don’t get to sleep until at least 4am, so getting woken after just a few hours of sleep is enough to start our morning off on the wrong foot every day. But it’s not just the sort of construction noise that all the people are used to. They are simply pounding sizable tile pylons into the ground as they’re rebuilding a bridge a tenth of a mile down the road. With every downward motion comes a rumble that feels somewhat like a tiny earthquake. As a constant noise for fifths on end, I usually get out of bed highly disgruntled plus attempt to start our morning with a strong cup of coffee in hand. If there were other noises happening simultaneously, like the landscaping people who are regularly outside or the TV in the other room, I wouldn’t be able to hear it. Unfortunately, I honestly was presented with this scenario Last year as our cooling system slowly broke down. Normally I believe I would have heard the noises coming from the air handler before it finally died on me. I feel that I would have observed the lack of noise that I’m used to hearing whenever our central cooling system is running normally. It took the abrupt change in temperature contained inside our beach house for myself and others to realize something was wrong with the huge central cooling system; Unfortunately, I can’t get our cooling system to turn back on. I seriously took a while to realize that our only recourse was calling our heating plus cooling worker to make maintenance later this week. The thought of paying for these professionally costly repairs is enough to make our head spin. I hope it doesn’t cost too much extra cash to get our a/c finally working again.
