I so miss the flowers in Springtime and planting in the garden.
I have squash plants ready to be put into the ground, but even though it is May, every one of us had snow the other evening.
Normally I would have my squashes in the ground, and my flowers would be blooming. Although the daffodils and crocus don’t mind the snow, my roses are not so happy. I cannot wait until Springtime finally arrives. The problem is that once the temperatures warm up, they will go directly from Springtime to summer time temperatures within a couple weeks. I stood in the living room looking out at the abruptly melting snow, and I remembered I hadn’t yet had my cooling system unit taken care of. I grabbed my coffee, walked over to the table and picked up my iPhone to call the heating and A/C company.. A part of me was thinking it was going to be a long time before I actually needed the cooling system, but then I glanced at the TV. The weather had just come, and our meteorologist was predicting eighty degrees by the end of the week. She constantly did her mumbo jumbo far-out forecast, and she was saying the eighties were going to stick around for quite some time. I called the heating and A/C company and told them I needed repair for my cooling system unit. The heating and A/C tech laughed and said I must have seen the forecast. I had, even though I had already thought this had to be the last snow of the season and I was ready for springtime, summer, and the cooling system.
