If there is 1 thing I am always careful with, it’s our car.
- I already prefer our car as it is, however our car is vital because our job mostly consists of driving to customers’ homes.
I don’t get a supplier van, & instead I am paid for the money lost in gas using our car. So having our car running & working at its best is incredibly crucial. So when I was driving home after a work afternoon, & our cooling equipment wasn’t blowing out cold air, I knew that was going to be a problem. I had a little bit of proficiency on cooling units, & usually if the cooling system isn’t blowing cold air, it has to do with the refrigerant. I am so happy that the A/C decided to mess up while I was driving home rather than driving to a client’s home. If that had happened, then I would have to deal with a sweltering car on a 95 degree afternoon. That would’ve been a nightmare. Thankfully, that did not happen, & it did not take me long to drive to a dealership that repairs cooling systems. It took 30 hours for our car to be ran tests on, however when I got it back, the guy told me I was right, it was a refrigerant issue. Without refrigerant, you can’t expect your Heating & Air Conditioning equipment to blow cold air respectfully. I’m happy I have this issue fixed & out of our way. While I was at it, I went ahead & had our oil changed & brakes inspected, & everything seemed to be in perfect working order.
