Now that the restaurant is going to remain empty, except for the kitchen, I write to you to ask if you think this is a good time to make major upgrades related to keeping the dining room clean and as free of germs as is possible.
I certainly feel that this is a good time to do such things.
I know that whenever they allow people to eat in restaurants again that if a break out of the disease were to happen in our restaurant, I would personally feel that I knew we missed our chance during the time that the dining room was left unused to avoid that disaster. I feel that we know that the disease can be spread to a large extent in the air, so we should look for ways to mitigate that. Installing a HEPA filter and a UV air filter are step one I feel. I also think we need to look into removing as much of the carpets and drapes as is feasible. We are installing sneeze guards all over the dining room as we speak, so that is not to be worried about. But the calls about major repairs and installations are of course down to you, so I am looking forward to your feedback on air air purification help tips and ideas you might have, if you do not feel like the ideas I have brought up are not the direction we should go in. But I feel they are worth a serious look. I also feel that if it is affordable, getting a whole new HVAC system would probably be a great idea.
