I regularly thought I’d do whatever it took to make our supplier succeed. But the pandemic allowed myself and others to so prove that thought. For years, I spent countless hours inside the zone controlled Heating & A/C of a corporate office. I was really good at our task although I was making other people rich, not me. That sort of was an epiphany really. It started the wheels in motion for myself and others to do what I do but for me. Launching that supplier 6 years ago was a seminal moment in our life for sure. But the pandemic really challenged the wisdom of leaving that zone controlled Heating & A/C plus steady corporate paycheck to be our own boss. My team of about a dozen people had no trouble transitioning to working remotely. I mean no trouble at all with any of us working from our own a/c. However, I wasn’t flying so it was tough to get to our clients. I’m the a single who does the deals plus is hands on with the customer most of the time. So I had to figure out how to get to those who needed us plus it wasn’t happening from the a/c of our house. So I cranked up the Heating & A/C cooling that summer time plus hit the road for what ended up being a few weeks the first time out. That wasn’t fantastic with our wifey despite the fact that she checked the temperature control setting in our home plus I flew her to wherever I was every other weekend. But mostly, I was in the charming, quality heating plus air of the hotels along the interstate. Hands down regularly the best heating plus cooling I’ve ever experienced which was a charming surprise.
