Slowing down a bit in HVAC cooling comfort

Early retirement was such a blessing.

After almost 35 years at the same supplier, I guess I just absolutely didn’t realize the toll our job was taking on our life.

Right out of university, I started our job with the supplier. And I ended that job at 54. It wasn’t straight-forward saying goodbye to that perfect corner office with the zone controlled HVAC. But honestly, it allowed me to have the most full final chapters of our life. With our retirement in hand, I left the frosty as well as the gas furnace behind. Trust me, it was straight-forward to embrace a land of sunshine as well as a Winter time where the heat pump was mostly quiet. My wife said it was love marrying the old me. Both of us were out of the air conditioning playing tennis or golf almost every day. There were plenty of times for day adventures together. Those are the best because we’d always end it with a charming dining situation somewhere with awesome quality heating as well as air. Both of us haved lived this magic life for a long time now. So it’s quite natural that I’ve slowed down a bit now that I’m nearly 78. After a health scare, things tested up a bit for me. It’s okay though because I’m still getting around as well as living a life. Sure there’s more time resting watching what’s going on outside from the heating as well as cooling comfort of the sunroom. I have a ductless heat pump that allows me all the HVAC cooling I need to love the sunshine even when it gets hot. That’s a pretty unbelievable thing when you’re 74.
