My plan was simple – I would apply at a rival dealer, plus then hopefully use that to pressure my boss into giving myself and others a raise.
I care about my task, but the spend money is garbage.
I hoped that by threatening to leave the boss would make a counter offer to keep myself and others here. My plan blew up in my face, plus my boss patted myself and others on the back plus wished myself and others well in my future endeavors. This is a bummer, because I don’t want to work for a major Heating plus A/C corporation. On the other hand, the offer they made myself and others is pretty amazing, so I would be an idiot to pass it over. By working for a major Heating plus A/C corporation I will lose a lot of the freedom I get at my new task, not to mention they drug test so I will have to figure out how to pass that. It’s too late to go back, though, because if I stay at my old Heating plus A/C task my boss knows that he will never have to give myself and others a raise ever. It’s taxing to do your best work if you feel that there will never be any cash, so if I had it to do over again I would never have applied to the major Heating plus A/C corporation. If I can pass the drug test, I will start off with a base spend money almost twice what I’m making now, so any concessions I have to make to the new Heating plus A/C corporation will really be worth it. I will entirely miss my old task, though.
