Growing up, there were many guys in the house, apart from my two brothers and sisters, there were also many cousins living with us.
After their parents passed away, they moved in with us, and we were all like brothers and sisters.
This was obvious in our never ending fights and quarrels, but it used to drive our parents crazy, especially while in summer. At one time, the fights over the temperature control became so intense that we exchanged blows, but needless to say, we were all grounded plus punished, however mom plus dad also banned us from touching the thermostat until they came up with a lasting solution. Mom called a heating and air conditioning professional to the house to service the cooling unit. As he was entirely working, she spoke to him about the situation in the house, and he came up with a solution. The heating and air conditioning worker explained that mom and dad could get heating and air conditioning zoning. We’d have separate thermostats in each of our rooms. This meant we could each set it the way we wanted and not interfere with the rest of the house. Mom was so enthusiastic after she learned about heating and air conditioning zoning since she knew we’d stop fighting.
