Preventing mold and mildew in the cabin

I’d never known any other life apart from living down at the coast. I was used to waking up at the edge of the ocean and walking to the beach. Never in our wildest dreams did I picture myself living in another place, let alone the cold mountainous regions, but, since life is not set in stone, things change. In private school, we went on a skiing trip, and this was our first time seeing snow. I had to confess this felt so different, and the part was so mesmerizing, but for some reason, I constantly felt like moving to that part which is what I did multiple years later. When I purchased a lodge in the area, it was summer. I knew this was the best time to transfer and get the lodge ready for winter. Plus, I had to get to know the part a little better! The lodge wasn’t that awful but required some repair work. That first week in the area, I had to turn on the air conditioner to keep the area cool. But, I started to notice some condensation forming on the windows. Having lived in a coastal part for multiple years, I knew there was lots of humidity in this lodge. The best way to get rid of it was to install a whole-lodge dehumidifier. I got in touch with the HVAC company who had installed the cooling system in the lodge. The HVAC specialist who had done the task told me it was great I had observed the condensation early to prevent mold and mildew growing in the lodge. The whole-home dehumidifier got rid of the condensation and also made the area more comfortable.
