A trade school partnership resulted in HVAC classes in my high school

I didn’t have much fun while I was in school.

My experiences left myself and others with a sour taste in my mouth, and the big amount of tasks I had to do for my classes was crazy in retrospect.

It’s even much worse when you’re like myself and others and you decide to take AP classes as well. I was now laboring 30 fifths a week as an assistant cook at a retirement house while I was in several separate AP classes at school and I don’t know how I managed it. My goal was to prepare for college while amassing a good resume to use for admissions. But despite getting into the best schools in the nation, it never gave myself and others the happiness that I was missing. Instead of going down the college track like me, my sibling instead took courses at a trade school while he was in school. They had a partnership program with a nearby school so students could dedicate two class periods each afternoon to receiving accredited education at the trade school. Since they gave Heating and Air Conditioning classes and he knew it would allow him with task security, my sibling opted to learn the heating and cooling trade. He’s earning a solid living as an Heating and Air Conditioning worker and he has plenty of time on the weekdays to go fishing to keep him cheerful. Although life has improved for myself and the rest of them a little as I’ve settled into my own career, sporadically I wonder if I would have been much better off attending trade school like my sibling.
